MAINTAINING THE ACCURACY OF THE IMPERIAL COUNTY MULTIPLE LISTING SERVICE IS THE MAJOR PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR THE ASSOCIATION. MEMBERS ABIDE BY A STRICT CODE OF ETHICS OF REALTORS AND MAY USE THE TRADEMARK. THE MLS SERVICE FEES COLLECTED ARE USED TO PAY THEIR VENDOR TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION IN THE MLS.


TRADITIONALLY, EACH YEAR, THE ASSOCIATION SPONSORS A COMMUNITY EVENT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF A LOCAL CHARITY. THIS YEAR THE ASSOCIATION RAISED FUNDS AND DONATED THE FUNDS TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF IMPERIAL VALLEY AND WOMANHAVEN. EVERY YEAR THE ASSOCIATION ALSO HOLDS AN INSTALLATION DINNER FOR ITS NEW OFFICERS.INCLUDED HERE ARE ALSO AFFILIATE DUES AND INITIATION FEES.CASH IN BANK ACCOUNTS EARNED INTEREST.


A VARIETY OF TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL CLASSES AND SEMINARS ARE OFFERED TO MEMBERS, LOCALLY AS WELL AS THROUGHOUT THE STATE AND NATIONALLY. THE GOAL IS TO HELP THE REALTORS GAIN THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE NECESSARY TO BEST SERVE THEIR CLIENTS.THEY ARE PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES TO INCREASE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE REAL ESTATE MARKET TRENDS.


REAL ESTATE PRODUCTS, SUCH AS SIGNS, SENTRILOCK BOXES AND BRANDED REALTOR CLOTHING ARE OFFERED FOR SALE OR RENT TO THE MEMBERS. THIS IS PROVIDED AS A CONVENIENCE TO THE REALTORS SO THAT THE PROCESS OF SHOWING AND SELLING HOUSES IS MADE EASIER. THIS IS PART OF THEIR MULTIPLE LISTING SERVICES.
