THESE INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAMS TAKE INTO ACCOUNT LEARNING STYLE, FUNCTIONING LEVEL, ATTENTION SPAN, INTEREST, AND MOTIVATION; ALL IN AN ATTEMPT TO HELP STUDENTS DEVELOP A POSITIVE SELF-IMAGE, DISCOVER MEANINGFUL AVENUES OF EXPRESSION, SOCIALIZE WITH THEIR PEERS, AND SET REALISTIC GOALS FOR THEMSELVES.
