THERE ARE TWO MAJOR GOALS: 1) TO SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATE TECHNICAL AND ACADEMIC EDUCATION IN A SCHOOL THAT PREPARES STUDENTS FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION AND CAREERS, AND 2) TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF UNDERREPRESENTED STUDENTS IN MATH AND ENGINEERING WHO SUCCEED IN HIGH SCHOOL AND POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION AND BECOME PRODUCTIVE LEADERS.
