CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OPERATIONS AND EVENTS: BENEFITS THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY THROUGH MONTHLY NETWORKING ACTIVITIES AND SPECIAL EVENETS. THIS INCLUDES POWER NETWORKING LUNCHES, "SHOP SOLANA BEACHX AND LOCAL "BUSINESS EXPO" PROMOTIONS, AS WELL AS A VARIETY OF SPECIAL EVENTS. THE CHAMBER MAINTAINS A WEB PAGE PROMOTING THE CITY AND MEMER'S BUSINESSESTHE CHAMBER OPERATES THE VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER NEAR THE TRAIN STATION TO ALLOW VISITORS TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT LOCAL BUSINESSES AND THE CITY OF SOLANA BEACH.THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT CURTAILMENT OF ACTIVITIES THIS YEAR DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC.

IT ATTRACTS TENS OF THOUSANDS OF VISITORS TO THE CITY, AND RAISES THE CITY'S VISIBILITY TO BOTH RESIDENT AND VISITORS.FIESTA DEL SOL WAS CANCELLED THIS YEAR DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC.
