THE STEM PROGRAM PREPARES THE NEXT GENERATION OF STUDENTS IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICES TO LEAD INTO THE FUTURE. THE STEM PROGRAM ENROLLED AND TAUGHT 9000 STUDENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022.
VARIOUS OTHER PROGRAMS.
THE PREVENTION PROGRAM PROVIDES CULTURAL SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND OTHER PREVENTION SERVICES TO YOUTH IN SOUTH LOS ANGELES. IN ADDITION, IT EDUCATES COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS AROUND SUBSTANCES AND CURRENT DRUG TRENDS AMONG YOUTH AND ADULTS. THE PREVENTION PROGRAM SERVED 195 CLIENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022.
THE NUTRITION PROGRAM IS A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES MEALS AND SNACKS TO INFNTS AND CHILDREN IN LOS ANGELES COUNTY WITHIN AT-RISK AREAS. AVALON-CARVER DELIVERED MEALS TO 550 CLIENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022.
