HOLIDAY LANE PARADE - ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE FOR RESIDENTS OF DOWNEY AND SURROUNDING CITIES. THIS EVENT IS AN INVESTMENT IN THE COMMUNITY WITH MANY BUSINESSES AND CITY AGENCIES PARTICIPATING.
GOLF TOURNAMENT - ANNUAL EVENT OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE CITY AND SURROUNDING AREAS. THIS EVENT PROMOTES THE CITY'S' RECREATIONAL AREAS AND FACILITIES.
STREET FAIRE - PROMOTES COMPANIES AND PROFESSIONALS DOING BUSINESS IN THE CITY. THE EVENT GIVES BUSINESS OWNERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AND MEET WITH RESIDENTS AND OTHERS. THIS EVENT GIVES ALL PARTICIPANTS A CHANCE TO INTERACT OUTSIDE A BUSINESS SETTING.
