THE ALMOND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTA IS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION WORKING ON BEHALF OF STUDENTS AND STAFF. THE PTA WORKS TO IMPROVE THE EDUCATION, HEALTH AND WELFARE OF ALL CHILDREN AND YOUTH.

THE PTA SUPPORTS THE SCHOOL WITH SUPPLIES, EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, TECHNOLOGY, SITE IMPROVEMENTS, SCIENCE MATERIALS, CLASSROOM AND TEACHER SUPPORT.


THE PTA PROVIDES FUNDING FOR STUDENT ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS SUCH AS DRAMA, CHORUS, HUMANITIES, ART AND OTHER PROGRAMS.


THE PTA SUPPORTS STUDENT PROGRAMS SUCH AS ASSEMBLIES, A HUMANITIES PROGRAM FOR K-3, JUNIOR OLYMPICS, FAMILY SCIENCE NIGHT, AND OTHERS. THE PTA ALSO SPONSORS COMMUNITY ORIENTED PROGRAMS.
