THE ANDERSEN DEANS FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATIONAL MISSION OF ROY O. ANDERSEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA. IT SUPPORTS TEACHER AIDS IN THE CLASSROOM VIA REIMBURSEMENTS TO NEWPORT MESA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. IT UNDERWRITES THE COST OF PROVIDING A DEDICATED TECHNOLOGY RESOURCE SUPPORTING GRADES K-6. HISTORICALLY, AND ON AN ONGOING BASIS, IT HAS PAID FOR TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES INCLUDING COMPUTER, PRINTERS AND NETWORK EQUIPMENT AND ASSOCIATED LICENSES. FINALLY, THE ANDERSEN DEANS FOUNDATION COVERS THE MANY MISCELLANEOUS NEEDS OF THE SCHOOL THAT ARE NOT COVERED BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, INCLUDING CLASSROOM SUPPLIES AND SUPPORT OF SPANISH MUSIC AND OTHER PROGRAMS TO BROADEN THE SCHOOL'S CURRICULUM.
