SHERMAN PTA SUPPORTS SFUSD'S SHERMAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, ITS STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING FUNDS, ENABLING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, ORGANIZING VOLUNTEERS, AND ENCOURAGING FAMILY/FACULTY ENGAGEMENT FOR STUDENT SUCCESS AND WELL-BEING.SHERMAN ELEMENTARY IS AN SFUSD K-5 SCHOOL LOCATED IN SAN FRANCISCO'S COW HOLLOW-MARINA DISTRICT. SHERMAN'S PROGRAMS WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT A UNIQUE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE SCHOOL SITE AND SHERMAN PTA TO LEVERAGE RESOURCES COLLABORATIVELY AND STRATEGICALLY. SHERMAN PTA PROVIDES DONATED FUNDS TO ENABLE CLASS-SIZE REDUCTION ACROSS ALL GRADES, A CREDENTIALED COMPUTER SCIENCE/TECHNOLOGY AND MATH TEACHER, TIER 2 LITERACY SUPPORT, RECESS TRAINING AND EQUIPMENT, SCIENCE/GARDEN ENRICHMENT, FIELD TRIPS, CLASSROOM SUPPLIES AND TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, DANCE AND CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS.
