COLAGE UNITES PEOPLE WITH ONE OR MORE LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER, QUEER, INTERSEX AND/OR ASEXUAL PARENTS INTO A NETWORK OF PEERS AND SUPPORTS THEM AS THEY NURTURE AND EMPOWER EACH OTHER TO BE SKILLED, SELF-CONFIDENT, AND JUST LEADERS IN OUR COLLECTIVE COMMUNITIES.

FAMILY WEEK AND SOCIAL PROGRAMMINGCOLAGE PROVIDES FORUMS, GATHERINGS, AND TARGETED PROGRAMMING FOR YOUTH WHO HAVE ONE OR MORE LGBTQ+ PARENTS WITH OUR LARGEST ANNUAL PROGRAM BEING FAMILY WEEK. FAMILY WEEK IS A PARTNERSHIP WITH FAMILY EQUALITY TO PROVIDE PROGRAMMING FOR OVER 200 FAMILIES AND THEIR CHILDREN FOR ONE WEEK IN PROVINCETOWN, MA. IN 2021, THE EVENT WAS HELD FROM JULY 24TH-30TH. FOR COLAGE, THE PROGRAM SERVES AS AN INCUBATOR SPACE TO BUILD AND DEVELOP PROGRAMS THAT ARE THEN BROUGHT TO OTHER LOCAL COMMUNITIES AROUND THE U.S. BOTH VIRTUALLY AND IN-PERSON.


EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND YOUTH LEADERSHIPCOLAGE CONDUCTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING TO SUPPORT PEOPLE WHO HAVE ONE OR MORE LGBTQ+ PARENTS. THE CORE OF THIS WORK IS SOCIAL JUSTICE THAT IS FACILITATED THROUGH MEETINGS, PROGRAMS, AND WORKSHOPS. COLAGE IS COMMITED TO EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF CHANGE MAKERS AND OPERATES A ROBUST YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. THE YOUTH ACTION BOARD IS AN ONGOING LEADERSHIP GROUP OF YOUNG PEOPLE WHO PROVIDE INPUT AS WELL AS PRODUCTION OF OUTREACH MATERIAL. COLAGE ALSO PROVIDES TRAINING THROUGH SUMMITS, MENTORING, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO PRACTICE FACILIAATION SKILLS IN PREPARATION FOR EVENTS LIKE FAMILY WEEK AND OTHER GATHERINGS.
