ERUDITE TECHNOLOGY GROUP, INC. DBA HOPE TECHNOLOGY GROUP ETG WAS ORGANIZED TO GIVE THE DISADVANTAGED AND NEEDY ACCESS TO TECHNOLOGY. IN THE 21ST CENTURY, ACCESS TO AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF TECHNOLOGY WILL BE CRITICAL FOR EVERYONE IN OUR SOCIETY. HOWEVER, MANY DISADVANTAGED AND NEEDY CHILDREN AND ADULTS DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO TECHNOLOGY. ETG WANTS TO HELP NARROW THIS TECHNOLOGY GAP. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS, ETG OPENED A PRIVATE SCHOOL WITH THE MISSION OF PROVIDING AN EXCEPTIONAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR TYPICAL AND SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN A FULL-INCLUSION, TECHNOLOGY RICH ENVIRONMENT. THE FULL INCLUSION PROGRAM WILL BE COMPOSED OF HIGHLY QUALIFIED TEACHERS AND THERAPISTS, WHO TOGETHER WITH PARENTS CREATE THE PERFECT TEAM FOR EACH CHILDS DEVELOPMENT. HOPE TECHNOLOGY SCHOOL: ENCOURAGED BY THE SUCCESS OF ITS EDUCATION LAB, ERUDITE TECHNOLOGY GROUP, INC. BEGAN WORK IN 2000 TO DEVELOP A FULL-INCLUSION MODEL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN WITH AND WITHOUT SPECIAL NEEDS, CAPITALIZING ON BEST PRACTICES IN EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY. WORK TO DEVELOP THE SCHOOL CONTINUED IN 2001 AND CULMINATED IN ITS OFFICIAL OPENING IN SEPTEMBER 2001. THE SCHOOL IS CALLED HOPE TECHNOLOGY SCHOOL (HTS) AND HAS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN FROM PRESCHOOL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL. OVER TWO DECADES LATER, HTS CONTINUES TO FULFILL ITS PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FIRST CLASS EDUCATION TO ALL CHILDREN, BUT PARTICULARLY TO CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, WITH DIGNITY AND ACCEPTENCE. DURING THE SEPTEMBER 1, 2020 - AUGUST 31, 2021 SCHOOL YEAR, HTS SERVED 76 STUDENTS IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 8TH GRADE, 14 STUDENTS IN THE PRESCHOOL, 5 STUDENTS IN OUR VOCED PROGRAM, AND 19 STUDENTS IN OUR LEARNING CURVE HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM.
