CLEAN CITY SERVICES: THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES AS AN URBAN MAINTENANCE SOCIAL ENTERPRISE OFFERING LANDSCAPING, LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE, STEAM CLEANING AND POWER WASHING, GRAFFITI ABATEMENT SERVICES, AND SPECIAL EVENT CLEAN-UP AND RECYCLING. CLEAN CITY SERVICES GENERATES REVENUE FOR THE AGENCY WHILE PROMOTING THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION AND CREATING EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS.
CLEAN CITY TRAINING PROGRAMS: THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL EMPLOYMENT, JOB READINESS, TRAINING, AND JOB PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE TO VERY LOW-INCOME MEN AND WOMEN IN SAN FRANCISCO. GREEN PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ATTEND EMPLOYMENT READINESS WORKSHOPS THAT INCLUDE RESUME WRITING, INTERVIEW TECHNIQUES, JOB SEARCH STRATEGIES, AND BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS. ALL THE TRAINING PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ARE PAID AN HOURLY WAGE TO PERFORM COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES SUCH AS NEIGHBORHOOD LANDSCAPING, TREE WATERING, GREENING, GARDENING, GRAFFITI REMOVAL, AND COMMUNITY RECYCLING EVENTS.
