THE SOCIETY'S ANNUAL MEETING PROVIDES A FORUM FOR THE PRESENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC PAPERS, MEDICAL EDUCATION, AND INFORMATION ON THE LATEST ADVANCES IN THE PRACTICE OF OBSTETRIC ANESTHESIA. THE INFORMATION PRESENTED, AND COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT PROVIDED, ENHANCES ATTENDEES' ABILITIES TO CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS AND DEVELOP THEIR PRACTICE.
THE SOCIETY'S COMMITTEES FOCUS ON SPECIFIC OBSTETRIC ANESTHESIA ISSUES, INITIATIVES, AND OPERATIONS. COMMITTEES INCLUDE ANNUAL MEETING & LIVE EVENTS, EDUCATION, FINANCE, GOVERNANCE, INTERSOCIETY, MEMBER VALUE, AND RESEARCH. THE CENTER OF EXCELLENCE PROGRAM IS AN INITIATIVE OF THE INTERSOCIETY COMMITTEE TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE FOR INSTITUTIONS. SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS PROVIDE NETWORKING AND KNOWLEDGE SHARING OPPORTUNITIES ON SHARED TOPICS OF INTEREST.
