THE PURPOSE OF ECOG-ACRIN MEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION, INC. IS TO FOSTER CLINICAL RESEARCH WITHIN THE PUBLIC, NON-PROFIT AND PRIVATE SECTORS FOR THE DETECTION, DIAGNOSIS, PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF CANCER AND OTHER RELATED DISEASES, INCLUDING THROUGH DEVELOPING TECHNOLOGY TO PREDICT PROGNOSIS AND RESPONSES TO THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION FOR PATIENTS WITH CANCER AND OTHER RELATED DISEASES, THAT WILL ULTIMATELY IMPROVE THE OUTCOMES FOR CANCER PATIENTS.

FEDERAL GRANTS THE ECOG-ACRIN MEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION INC., THROUGH ITS FEDERAL FUNDING, BOTH DIRECT AND AS A SUBRECIPIENT, SUPPORTS THE EFFORTS OF THE NCI TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES FOR CANCER PATIENTS. THIS FEDERAL FUNDING AIDS ECOG- ACRIN IN PROVIDING THE SUPPORT NECESSARY TO CONDUCT RELEVANT AND RIGOROUS CLINICAL TRIALS, WHICH BENEFIT PUBLIC HEALTH BY IMPROVING THE QUANTITY AND STANDARD OF CARE FOR CANCER PATIENTS. IN ADDITION, THE FUNDS ARE USED TO PROMOTE COLLABORATION ACROSS A PROLIFIC SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY AND TO CONTINUE THE STRONG ENGAGEMENT OF PATIENT ADVOCACY AT ALL LEVELS.
PHARMACEUTICAL GRANTS THROUGH SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING ON NCI APPROVED AND FUNDED TRIALS, ECOG-ACRIN MEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION INC. CARRIES OUT ACTIVITIES DESCRIBED IN THE SCOPE OF FUNCTIONS OF EACH NCI PROTOCOL. ALL FUNCTIONS ARE PERFORMED IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS, WITH AN OVERARCHING GOAL OF REACHING FULL ACCRUALS TO FURTHER ADVANCE THE RESEARCH AND MEDICINE AIMED AT IMPROVING OUTCOMES FOR CANCER PATIENTS.
FEDERAL CONTRACTS THE ECOG-ACRIN MEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION INC., THROUGH ITS SUBRECIPIENT FEDERAL CONTRACT FUNDING FOR THE NCI MATCH AND MDS PROGRAMS AIDS ECOG-ACRIN IN PROVIDING THE SUPPORT NECESSARY TO CONDUCT SPECIFIC RELEVANT AND RIGOROUS CLINICAL TRIALS, WHICH AIM TO BENEFIT THE PUBLIC HEALTH BY IMPROVING THE QUANTITY AND STANDARD OF CARE FOR CANCER PATIENTS.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INDUSTRY PAYMENTS THE ECOG-ACRIN MEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION INC.
