COMMUNITY ENERGY SERVICES CORPORATION (CESC) CURRENTLY OFFERS THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS (WITH ADDITIONAL DETAILS AVAILABLE AT THE WEBSITE WWW.EBENERGY.ORG):HOME SAFETY REPAIRCESC PROVIDES HOME IMPROVEMENT SERVICES AT NO CHARGE TO LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS. SUCH REPAIRS MIGHT INCLUDE PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL WORK, CARPENTRY AND INSTALLATION OF SAFETY DEVICES SUCH AS GRAB BARS AND HANDRAILS. IN 2011, CESC PROVIDED THESE SERVICES IN THE CITIES OF RICHMOND AND BERKELEY WITH THESE CITIES' SUPPORT AND FEDERAL FUNDS FROM THE US DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING.
HEALTHY HOMESCESC PROVIDES CONSTRUCTION AND CLEANING SERVICES IN RESIDENCES WHERE CHILDREN AREAFFLICTED WITH ASTHMA. ELIMINATING OR REDUCING MOLD, DUST, AND DUST MITES, PESTS AND AIRBORNE PARTICULATES HAS BEEN DEMONSTRATED TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF ASTHMA SYMP- TOMS. IN 2011, CESC PROVIDED THESE SERVICES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTY.SMARTLIGHTSSMARTLIGHTS IS SPECIALLY DESIGNED TO HELP SMALL BUSINESSES BECOME MORE ENERGY- EFFICIENT.
