THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED CHILDREN AND TO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT ESTABLISH AND SUPPORT VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AIMED AT SERVING THE NEEDS OF DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED CHILDREN IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, THOSE WHO MAY FACE LIFE CHALLENGES RESULTING FROM CEREBRAL PALSY, DOWNS SYNDROME, AUTISM, EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCES AND LEARNING DISABILITIES.

SUPPORT WAS GIVEN TO THE OFFICE OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION FOR THE ARCHDIOCESE OF SAN FRANCISCO. MOST SPECIFICALLY, THE SUPPORT IS DIRECTED AT TEACHING CATHOLIC CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE TO SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN THE ARCHDIOCESE, HELPING THE STUDENTS RECEIVE THEIR SACRAMENTS AND FORM FAITH COMMUNITIES OF SHARING.
SUPPORT WAS GIVEN TO THE JANET POMEROY CENTER WHERE THERE IS AN ADAPTIVE COMPUTER LAB. HUNDREDS OF DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED PARTICIPANTS BECOME ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS THROUGH THE INTERNET, MANY FOR THE FIRST TIME.
THE ORGANIZATION BOUGHT TICKETS TO A SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS BASEBALL GAME FOR AS MANY DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED CHILDREN AS WERE ABLE TO ATTEND. IT WAS PART OF THE YEARLY "FUN DAYS" THAT THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS FOR THE CHILDREN. MANY OF THE CHILDREN WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND A MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL GAME UNLESS IT WAS THROUGH AN ORGANIZED EFFORT SUCH AS THIS.
SUPPORT WAS GIVEN TO VARIOUS NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK WITH THE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED IN KEEPING WITH THIS ORGANIZATION'S MISSION. THE ORGANIZATIONS THAT WERE GIVEN THE FUNDS USED THE FUNDS TO ASSIST AND TO EDUCATE INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED IN SOME CAPACITY, WHETHER IT BE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL. THE ASSISTANCE WENT TO THE FOLLOWING: "FUN DAY" - BOWLING DAY FOR DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED CHILDREN. MASS FOR FELLOW KNIGHT OF COLUMBUS WHO SUPPORTED THE ORGANIZATION. MARTIN DE PORRES CENTER - HOMELESS SHELTER MOUNT ST. JOSEPH EPIPHANY CENTER - PREGNANT WOMEN'S SHELTER ST. BENEDICT PARISH - DEAF PROGRAM ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY - APPRECIATION DINNER FOR THE NON-CASH GOODS THAT WERE GATHERED AND DISTRIBUTED TO THE NEEDY BY ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY.
