THE ICA ENGAGES BAY AREA AUDIENCES BY PRESENTING AND INTERPRETING INNOVATIVE AND THOUGHT-PROVOKING CONTEMPORARY ART, AND BY PROVIDING A LEADING FORUM WHERE CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS CAN GROW AND DEVELOP. THE ORGANIZATION PRESENTS APPROXIMATELY TWELVE EXHIBITIONS PER YEAR, AS WELL AS A WIDE RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT INCLUDE ARTIST LECTURES, DEMONSTRATIONS, AND PRINTMAKING WORKSHOPS.
