CIVIC ENGAGEMENT: THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SERVICES IN NONPARTISAN GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY ORGANIZING WITH RESIDENTS FOR VOTER EDUCATION REGARDING BALLOT MEASURES, VOTER REGISTRATION, PETITION SIGNATURE GATHERING, AND OCCASIONALLY DIRECT AND INDIRECT LOBBYING SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF FIAEB'S FEDERAL 501(H) ELECTION.
SAFETY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SERVICES IN NONPARTISAN GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY ORGANIZING WITH RESIDENTS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY, CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN LOW-INCOME NEIGHBORHOODS IN ALAMEDA AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES.
