MORE THAN 54,000 INDIVIDUAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN RENDERED AND ACCOMPLISHED DURING THE PAST YEAR THROUGH SENIOR PROGRAMMING. THE WOODLAND SENIOR CENTER SERVES APPROXIMATELY 200 TO 300 INDIVIDUALS EACH DAY. STAFF PROVIDES INFORMATION REGARDING HEALTH, FINANCIAL, HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, LEGAL, AND ANY SERVICES NECESSARY FOR THE WELLBEING OF ADULTS AGED FIFTY AND OVER. REFERRALS ARE MADE AS NEEDED. SOCIAL, RECREATIONAL, AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF FIFTY ARE PROVIDED. THE STAFF PROVIDES DIRECT SERVICES TO SENIOR GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS, COORDINATES VOLUNTEER EFFORTS, AND PROVIDES STAFF SUPPORT TO WOODLAND SENIOR CENTER, INC AND TO THE CITY OF WOODLAND COMMISSION ON AGING. IN ADDITION, STAFF SCHEDULES THE USE OF THE SENIOR CENTER FACILITY FOR CONTRACTS CLASSES, RENTALS, AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS.
