VISUAL ARTS EXHIBITIONS: CCC PRESENTS VISUAL ARTS TO ACTIVATE PUBLIC SPACE WITH PUBLIC ART INITIATIVES SUCH AS MURALS, SOUND, LIGHT, AND TECHNOLOGICAL/ART PROJECTS. ADDITIONALLY, CCC EXPANDS PLACE-KEEPING EFFORTS BY INVOLVING MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY, INTEGRATING ART AND COMMUNITY BUILDING IN A MEANINGFUL WAY.
CCC'S VISUAL ARTS PROGRAMS REACH BEYOND ITS DEEP CONNECTIONS WITH CHINESE AMERICAN COMMUNITIES TO SEEK OUT OTHER COMMUNITIES OF SAN FRANCISCO AS WELL AS TO THE GLOBAL CHINESE DIASPORA. CCC DEPLOYS PROCESS-DRIVEN, PLACE-BASED, INTERDISCIPLINARY AND INTERCULTURAL STRATEGIES INTEGRATING ART WITH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN THINKING TO PROMOTE A VISION FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE AND INCLUSION
