THE MARIN HISTORY MUSEUM'S MISSION IS TO CELEBRATE THE TRADITIONS INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY OF THE PEOPLE OF MARIN COUNTY CALIFORNIA. THROUGH EXHIBITIONS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS BUILT AROUND THE EXPERTISE OF NOTED HISTORIANS AND AN UNPARALLELED COLLECTION THE MUSEUM INSPIRES HONOR FOR THE PAST AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRESENT AND AN IMAGINATION OF THE FUTURE.

BOYD GATE HOUSE IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOUR DAYS PER WEEK WITH LIMITED HOURS. OPPORTUNITY FOR STAFF TO MEET AND GREET VISITORS SELL BOOKS & DIGITAL IMAGES AND SOLICIT DONATIONS TO THE MUSEUM. BOYD GATE HOUSE EXHIBITS. WE HAVE UP TO THREE ROTATING EXHIBITS PER YEAR. THE FIRST EXHIBIT - THE BOTTLE EXHIBIT - WAS CREATED WITH THE HELP OF AN OUTSIDE CURATOR AND DISPLAYS A HISTORICAL MARIN-BASED BOTTLE COLLECTION THAT OPENED TO THE PUBLIC EARLIER THIS YEAR. THIS PROGRAM PUBLICIZED TO MARIN CITIZENS HAS DRAWN MUCH INTEREST AND PRAISE. INCREASES FOOT TRAFFIC WHICH LEADS TO ADDITIONAL REVENUE. THE NEW 9 PAMARON NOVATO SPACE IS SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER THAN THE OLD LEVERONI SPACE. WE EXPECT THAT VISITS BY THE PUBLIC TO RESEARCH OUR COLLECTION WILL INCREASE SUBSTANTIALLY THIS YEAR.
