SPRINGFEST (FAMILY EDUCATION DAY) - 2022 LAUNCHES THE HEMOPHILIA FOUNDATION OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA INTO A NEW ERA AS WE REINVENT AND GROW OUR FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAMMING. NEW THIS YEAR, WE WILL BE WELCOMING OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT AND BE EDUCATED THROUGH OUR SPRING FEST AND EMERGING THERAPIES. BY OFFERING A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO BE PRESENTED WITH OUR WALK LAUNCH, OUR COMMUNITY WILL GATHER FOR A DAY OF FUN, GAMES, AND EDUCATION WHILE LEARNING HOW TO RAISE AWARENESS AND FUNDS KICKING OFF THE UNITE FOR BLEEDING DISORDERS WALK.BY COMBINING THREE UNIQUE EVENTS INTO ONE AMAZING DAY, OUR SPONSORS ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO INTERACT WITH EVERY AGE OF COMMUNITY MEMBER ON SUNDAY, MAY 22 AT THE AMADOR RANCHO COMMUNITY CENTER IN SAN RAMON. SPONSORS ARE PROVIDED WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET AND MINGLE WITH OUR CHAPTER MEMBERS IN A LAID-BACK FUN ATMOSPHERE, WHILE ALSO SUPPORTING OUR FAMILY EDUCATION DAY. EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - HFNC PROVIDES CASH GRANTS ANNUALLY TO INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH BLEEDING DISORDERS AND EXPERIENCING A FINANCIAL CRISIS. GRANTS RANGE BETWEEN $250 AND $500 AND COVER BASIC LIFE NECESSITIES SUCH AS RENT, FOOD AND UTILITIES.
CAMP HEMOTION - AN ANNUAL WEEKLONG RESIDENTIAL SUMMER CAMP SERVING APPROXIMATELY 100 YOUNG PEOPLE, AGES 7-20, LIVING WITH BLEEDING DISORDERS. FOR MANY YEARS, CAMP HEMOTION HAS SERVED AS HFNC'S PRIMARY WAY TO REACH YOUNG PEOPLE AND PROVIDE THEM WITH THE TOOLS AND SKILLS THEY NEED TO LEAD HEALTHY, VIBRANT AND, IMPORTANTLY, FULL LIVES.
