ONE OF ITS PRINCIPAL PURPOSES IS PUTTING ON THE "REDDING RODEO", A RODEO ORGANIZED AND SANCTIONED BY THE PROFESSIONAL RODEO COWBOYS ASSOCIATION. THIS ORGANIZATION HAS PUT ON THESE RODEOS FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR MORE THAN FIFTY CONSECUTIVE YEARS.THIS ORGANIZATION ALSO PUTS ON FUND RAISERS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO NOT ONLY GENERATE THE NECESSARY FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO ALLOW IT TO PUT ON THE RODEO, BUT ALSO TO ASSIST AND/OR CONTRIBUTE TO MANY WORTHWHILE COMMUNITY CHARITABLE CAUSES.THIS ORGANIZATION, WITH ITS FACILITIES AND FINANCES, PARTICIPATES IN AND CONTRIBUTES TO CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL EVENTS SUCH AS HORSEMANSHIP EVENTS, YOUTH HORSEMANSHIP EVENTS, HANDICAP SPECIAL CHILDREN EVENTS, COMMUNITY FUND RAISING EVENTS, AND SPECIAL NEEDS EVENTS WHICH ASSIST IN MERITORIOUS CAUSES.
