Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THROUGH ITS ARTISTIC, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS, THE SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY SERVES MORE THAN 400,000 BAY AREA RESIDENTS AND VISITORS OF EVERY ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL BACKGROUND IN OVER 22 CONCERTS. FROM SEPTEMBER 2020 THROUGH MAY 2021, NO LIVE CONCERTS WERE PERFORMED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. THE SYMPHONY TYPICALLY REACHES MILLIONS OF OTHERS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD THROUGH TOURING, RECORDING, DIGITAL PERFORMANCE, AND RADIO AND TELEVISION BROADCASTS.DURING A LARGE PORTION OF THE YEAR, SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY WAS UNABLE TO PERFORM IN FRONT OF LIVE AUDIENCES DUE TO THE ONGOING PANDEMIC AND THE WORK SHIFTED TO A DIGITAL PLATFORM.
