AS A QUASI-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION, THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED APPROXIMATELY 35% OF ITS OPERATING FUNDS FROM THE COUNTY OF MARIN, CALIFORNIA.HOMESTEAD VALLEY COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION PROVIDES SAFE RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE COMMUNITY. PROGRAM FEES HELP OFFSET THE EXPENSES OF REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF THE FACILITIES. FUNDS RECEIVED FROM THE COUNTY OF MARIN COVER REAL ESTATE TAXES ASSESSED ON THE COMMUNITY CENTER. SWIMMING POOL MEMBERSHIPS PROVIDE DISCOUNTS FOR FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY AND HELP INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE CENTER.
