FOSTERING CREATIVITY AND ENGAGEMENT WITH THE ARTS, TO INSPIRE PERSONAL GROWTH AND COMMUNITY WELL-BEING.

Part 3 - Line 4a

EDUCATION PROGRAMS INCLUDE ART CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, AND OPEN STUDIOS TAUGHT AT THE CENTER, AS WELL AS EXTENSIVE ON-SITE ARTS AND CULTURE PROGRAMMING. THROUGH THE OUTREACH PROGRAMS, THE CENTER WORKS WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS TO INTEGRATE ENGAGING ARTS LEARNING WITH OTHER CLASSROOM SUBJECTS THROUGH PROJECT-BASED LEARNING ACTIVITIES. TWO SUBSETS OF THIS PROGRAM ARE THE YOUNG ARTISTS PROGRAM IN WHICH IDENTIFIED AT-RISK YOUTH ARE TAUGHT HEALTHY AND ARTISTIC OUTLETS OF EXPRESSION AND THE ARTIST ACCELERATOR PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS ARTISTIC, PROFESSIONAL, AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT FOR WORKING ARTISTS OF THE REGION. PROGRAMMING INCLUDES A SPEAKER SERIES, RESIDENCY PROGRAM, AND A SUMMER EXPERIENTIAL COMMUNITY ARTS EVENT.


EXHIBITIONS ARE PRESENTED BY THE CENTER TO PROMOTE ARTISTS' WORK, TAKING THE FORM OF GALLERIES, PERFORMANCES, AND OTHER EXHIBITION DISPLAYS.


ARTSHOP PROMOTES LOCAL ARTISTS AND FACILITATES THE SALE OF THEIR WORK.
