THE FOUNDATION HAS ENTERED INTO A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND COLLEGE PARK (UMD). THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE ONGOING RESEARCH AND EDUCATION ABOUT WILDLIFE AND NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT THAT WILL SERVE AS A DEMONSTRATION AREA FOR THE EXPANSION OF BEST PRACTICES ACROSS MARYLAND. THE FOUNDATION AND UMD WILL JOINTLY DEVELOP, ORGANIZE AND HOLD WORKSHOPS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS RELATED TO WILDLIFE AND NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT.
