CONTINUED TO FUND A PROJECT MANAGER, SECURED NEW FUNDS, EXPANDED THE BUDGET. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR INCREASED THE COUNCILS PARTICIPATION IN THE VARIOUS PLANNING EFFORTS TAKING PLACE THROUGHOUT THE BASIN WITH THE GOAL OF BECOMING THE PRIMARY CONVENER OF ISSUES IMPACTING MULTIPLE SECTORS OF THE WATERSHED
COMPLETED A LARGE WOOD RESTORATION PROJECT ON CLEAR CREEK; CONTINUED MONITORING LARGE WOOD PLACEMENT PROJECT ON EAST FORK DAIRY CREEK; PROVIDED RIPARIAN AREA ENHANCEMENT ALONG CHILDS ROAD AND THE TUALATIN RIVER AND AT FIELDS CREEK AND UPPER ROCK CREEK TO SUPPORT NATIVE PLANT GROWTH; ENHANCED THE RIPARIAN CORRIDOR BY REMOVING INVASIVE PLANT SPECIES AND VOLUNTEERS ASSISTED WITH THE WORK; CONTINUED MAINTENANCE WORK AT RIPPLING WATERS ALONG GALES CREEK. CONDUCTED FIELD VALIDATION OF THE GIS APPROACH FOR BASIN-WIDE GEOGRAPHIC PRIORITY ANALYSIS.
REPRESENTED THE COUNCIL ON THE TUALATIN BASIN PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE (TB PAC). PROVIDED THE WATERSHED PERSPECTIVE FOR THE CEDAR MILL FLOODING REMEDIATION TEAM. LED MEETINGS OF THE TUALATIN CONSERVATION PARTNERS AND PARTICIPATED IN MEETINGS OF CLEAN WATER SERVICES AND THE OREGON DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY WITH A FOCUS ON THE DAIRY MCKAY SUBBASIN.
