TO REDUCE ANIMAL CRUELTY AND SUFFERING, WITH A CURRENT EMPHASIS ON PROVIDING LOW-COST SPAY/NEUTER AND WELLNESS SERVICES. SPECIFICALLY, WAG'S GOAL IS TO PERFORM 29-30 LOW-COST SPAY/NEUTER SURGERIES PER DAY, SECURE GRANTS AND DONATIONS TO DEFRAY THE COST OF SPAY/NEUTER SURGERIES EVEN FURTHER FOR LOWER INCOME PET OWNERS, AND ENGAGE IN PUBLIC EDUCATION OUTREACH, ALL IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE BIRTHS OF UNWANTED ANIMALS IN OUR COMMUNITY. WAG HAS PREVENTED OVER 350,000 UNWANTED ANIMALS IN LANE COUNTY WITH ITS FINANCIALLY ACCESSIBLE SURGICAL SERVICES.

DURING 2021, WAG CLINIC SPAYED/NEUTERED OVER 5,085 CATS/DOGS DESPITE COVID. WAG CONTINUES TO SUCCESSFULLY HANDLE A HUGE COMMUNITY NEED WITH CURBSIDE SERVICE TO KEEP OUR STAFF AND CLIENTS SAFE. WAG JUST SURPASSED 70,000 SPAY/NEUTER SURGERIES COMPLETED. WAG RAISED OVER $30,000 FROM ITS 2021 END OF YEAR NEWSLETTER FUNDRAISER, WHICH WAS THEN DOUBLE-MATCHED BY A GENEROUS DONOR IN EARLY JANUARY 2022.
