PORTLAND TENNIS & EDUCATION IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION OFFERING ACADEMIC SUPPORT, TENNIS AND ATHLETIC ENRICHMENT, LIFE SKILLS AND MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT, AND FAMILY RESOURCES TO KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE STUDENTS ENROLLED IN OUR AFTER SCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS. WE ARE DEDICATED TO THE ACADEMIC SUCCESS AND LIFELONG HEALTH OF PORTLAND YOUTH, SUPPORTING THEM IN BECOMING WELL-ROUNDED LEARNERS, LIFELONG ATHLETES, AND GLOBAL CITIZENS.

THROUGH THE EXTENDED-LEARNING, SUMMER AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS, PT&E HAS IMPACTED THE LIVES OF MORE THAN 1,000 UNDERSERVED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN 2023 AND HAS SERVED MORE THAN 10,000 OVER TIME. DURING THE YEAR VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED MORE THAN 5,608 HOURS OF IN-CLASSROOM MENTORING AND TUTORING OF STUDENTS. PT&E SERVES MANY INCREDIBLY DIVERSE AND RESILIENT YOUTH IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE. 95% OF OUR STUDENTS ARE YOUTH OF COLOR AND 81% ARE BILINGUAL.
