COURT RENTAL BOEING EMPLOYEES' TENNIS CLUB IS AN INDOOR TENNIS AND RACQUETBALL FACILITY WITH NINE TENNIS COURTS, TWO RACQUETBALL COURTS, LOCKER ROOM FACILITIES, AND A SMALL ARRAY OF EXERCISE EQUIPMENT. MEMBERS ARE ABLE TO RENT THESE COURTS ON A PRIVATE BASIS OR TO JOIN IN A LEAGUE ACTIVITY. THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL IS TO KEEP COSTS AS LOW AS POSSIBLE SO THAT MEMBERS ARE ABLE TO ENJOY THE SPORT AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.
LESSONS BOEING EMPLOYEES' TENNIS CLUB HAS ONE HEAD PRO AND FOUR ASSISTANT PROS WHO TEACH TENNIS LESSONS SEVEN DAYS PER WEEK. EACH OF THE PROS HAS A USPTA RATING OF 1 OR 2 AND ARE ACCOMPLISHED TENNIS PLAYERS. WITH THEIR EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE, THEY PROVIDE EXCELLENT INSTRUCTION TO BOTH ADULTS AND JUNIOR MEMBERS, HELPING THEM TO IMPROVE THEIR GAME AND ACHIEVE THEIR HIGHEST SKILL LEVEL.
TOURNAMENTS BOEING EMPLOYEES' TENNIS CLUB HOLDS EIGHT TENNIS TOURNAMENTS PER YEAR, PROVIDING COMPETITION AT DIFFERENT LEVELS. TWO OF THE TOURNAMENTS ARE EXCLUSIVELY FOR CLUB MEMBERS, AND THE OTHER SIX ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, PROVIDING OUR MEMBERS WITH EXPOSURE TO PLAYERS OUTSIDE OF THE CLUB. THERE ARE TWO JUNIOR USTA-SANCTIONED TOURNAMENTS WHICH PROVIDE THE JUNIORS AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE THEIR LOCAL AND NATIONAL RANKINGS BY COMPETING AGAINST OTHER JUNIORS AT THE SAME AGE AND SKILL LEVEL.
