THE MISSION OF THE COUNCIL, WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PRIVATE AND GOVERNMENTAL STAKEHOLDERS, IS TO IMPROVE THE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OF OUR WATERSHEDS TO BENEFIT THOSE WHO LIVE AND WORK WITHIN OUR BOUNDARIES AND FOR THE FISH AND WILDLIFE THAT DEPEND ON IT.

WORKED WITH LANDOWNERS IN ALL THREE WATERSHEDS TO IMPROVE HABITAT AND PASSAGE FOR AQUATIC ORGANISMS INCLUDING SALMON, STEELHEAD, TROUT, LAMPREY, AND OTHER RESIDENT FISHES AND AMPHIBIANS. HABITAT IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDED A LARGE WOOD ENHANCEMENT PROJECT, RIPARIAN PLANTING PROJECTS, AND BIANNUAL BAY CLEAN-UP. PASSAGE PROJECTS INCLUDE CULVERT AND BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS.
