MUSIC BOOSTERS SUPPORTS MUSIC EDUCATION AT THE ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL LEVELS IN THE MCMINNVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT. THE MUSIC BOOSTERS HAS BEEN ABLE TO HELP FUND ACCOMPANISTS, GUEST CLINICIANS, INSTRUMENT PURCHASES, STUDENT TRIPS AND FESTIVALS, STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, STUDENT MUSIC CAMPS AND MORE. MUSIC BOOSTERS SUPPORTS MORE THAN 500 STUDENTS IN MCMINNVILLE, OREGON.
THE MINI GRANT PROGRAM SUPPORTS TEACHERS AND STAFF WITH SPECIFIC STUDENTS NEEDS AT ALL GRADE LEVELS. THOSE NEEDS MAY INCLUDE BOOKS, SCIENCE MATERIALS, MANIPULATIVES AND CLASSROOM ITEMS TO ENHANCE THE DELIVERY OF SUBJECT MATTER AND INCREASE THE MASTERY OF CONCEPTS. MORE THAN 3,300 STUDENTS ARE SERVED.
THE SCIENCE PROGRAM OFFERS HANDS-ON SCIENCE EXPERIENCES OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM TO EVERY ELEMENTARY STUDENT IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 5TH GRADE. THE PROGRAM IS ALIGNED WITH THE STATE SCIENCE STANDARDS ESTABLISHED BY THE OREGON DEPT OF EDUCATION. MORE THAN 3,000 STUDENTS ARE SERVED.
