TRAINING AND MEETINGS PROVIDED SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR THROUGHOUT THE STATE TO CARE PROVIDERS, CASE MANAGERS, NUTRITIONISTS, AND PROGRAM MANAGERS CONCERNING SENIOR ISSUES. ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION ON ISSUES AFFECTING SENIORS AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.
DISTRIBUTION OF TRUST PRINCIPAL TO ELDERLY BENEFICIARIES PER SPECIFIC CRITERIA. ALSO, EXPENSES DIRECTLY RELATED TO THIS PURPOSE AS DETAILED BY THE MCCOMAS TRUST.
OWN (OREGON WELLNESS NETWORK) SERVES AS A NETWORK HUB FOR THE 17 AREA AGENCIES ON AGING (AAA) IN OREGON. OWN WAS DEVELOPED TO HELP THE INDIVIDUAL AAA'S CREATE A VALUE PROPOSITION FOR THE SOCIAL SERVICES THEY PROVIDE. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO HOME DELIVERED MEALS, CASE MANAGEMENT AND IN HOME CARE, FALL PREVENTION SERVICES, DIABETES PREVENTION AND CHRONIC DISEASE SELF-MANAGEMENT EDUCATION.
