ANNUAL COMMUNITY BANQUETAT THIS DINNER, THE COMMUNITY LEADER OF THE YEAR, AS WELL AS SEVERAL MEMBER AWARDS ARE GIVEN TO RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT BY CIVIC, EDUCATION, GOVERNMENTAL, AND ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERS. THIS EVENT WAS POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 AND SOME REVENUES REPORTED WILL CARRY OVER.
LEADERSHIP LAKE OSWEGOTHIS NINE MONTH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM PROMOTES LEADERSHIP TRAITS IN MEMBERS AND MEMBER EMPLOYEES. MANY FUTURE LEADERS OF THE COMMUNITY AND CHAMBER COME FROM THESE GRADUATES. DESPITE THE COVID OUTBREAK, THE PROGRAM FINISHED VIA REMOTE ACCESS.
WINE WALK - THIS EARLY OCTOBER EVENT FEATURES DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES AS HOST LOCATIONS, AND SERVES AS A HOLIDAY PREVIEW FOR THE PARTICIPATING RETAIL HOSTS. EACH TICKET ENTITLES THE ATTENDEE TO SEVERAL WINE TASTINGS IN LOCATIONS OF THEIR CHOICE. ABOUT 500 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THE TASTINGS DURING THIS REPORTING YEAR.
