PLAYS: AFTER THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC SHUTDOWN OF THEATRES IN 2020, OSF WELCOMED BACK IN-PERSON AUDIENCES WITH CHERYL L. WEST'S FANNIE: THE MUSIC AND LIFE OF FANNIE LOU HAMER, STAGED IN THE OSF'S OUTDOOR ALLEN ELIZABETHAN THEATRE. OSF UNDERTOOK THE PRODUCTION OF ITS FIRST HOLIDAY SHOW, WHICH WAS OPENED TO IN-PERSON AUDIENCES IN THE BOWMER THEATRE IN NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER OF 2021. OSF'S DIGITAL PLATFORM, O!, HAS OFFICIALLY BECOME OSF'S FOURTH STAGE, KEEPING ARTISTS AND AUDIENCES CONNECTED THROUGH EXTENSIVE PROGRAMMING THAT INCLUDED SIX STREAMING PRODUCTIONS FROM OSF ARCHIVES ALONGSIDE ORIGINAL WORKS --SUCH AS THE OSCAR-ELIGIBLE SHORT FILM ASH LAND, SHAKESPEARE QUIZSHO!,AND WOMB, A CURATED SERIES OF/BY QUEER BIPOC ARTISTS, AND VISUAL SOVEREIGNTY PROJECT.
