THE QUEENS CARE ORGANIZATION'S INAUGURAL CHRISTMAS EVENT: A CANDYLAND CHRISTMAS, WAS HELD ON DECEMBER 17TH, 2022, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH J.L. EVERHART ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, A TITLE 1 SCHOOL (40% OR MORE OF THEIR STUDENTS ARE ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED), SUPPORTING KIDS AND FAMILIES IN THEIR COMMUNITY IN SCHOOLS AND FOOD BACKPACK PROGRAMS, THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH INITIATIVE, THE QUEENS' WISHLIST PROGRAM. 25 KIDS HAD THEIR CHRISTMAS WISH-LIST FULFILLED AND WE HOSTED A PARTY FOR THE FAMILIES WITH FOOD, GAMES, ARTS & CRAFTS, RAFFLE-DRAWINGS, PRIZES, AND FOOD BOXES. THE GIFTS WERE GIVEN TO THE KIDS DURING THE PARTY. 18 FAMILIES TOTAL WERE SUPPORTED, IN WHICH THERE WERE 3 FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLE SIBLINGS.
