YCVAS WAS STARTED WITH THE IDEA THAT JUSTICE BELONGS TO ALL PEOPLE- REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY FOR AN ATTORNEY FOR CIVIL LEGAL CASES IN YAKIMA COUNTY. IN 2023 OVER 47 VOLUNTEER LAWYERS DONATED 401 HOURS AND THREE STAFF ATTORNEYS WORKED 1,124 HOURS TO SERVE OVER 680 LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS.
