SHIRLEY BRIDGE BUNGALOWS (THE PROJECT) IS A WASHINGTON PRIVATE NONPROFIT CORPORATION, ORGANIZED IN 2001 FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING AND OPERATING A 6-UNIT PROJECT LOCATED IN WEST SEATTLE, WASHINGTON. SOUND MENTAL HEALTH ACQUIRED CONTROL OF THE PROJECT FROM BUILDINGCHANGES ON AUGUST 1, 2012. THE PROJECT WAS FORMED AND OPERATES UNDER SECTION 811 SUPPORTIVE HOUSING FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES PROGRAM. HUD PROVIDES FUNDING TO DEVELOP AND SUBSIDIZE RENTAL HOUSING WITH THE AVAILABILITY OF SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VERY LOW-INCOME ADULTS WITHDISABILITIES. THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) REGULATES SUCH PROJECTS AS TO CHANGE OR DISCONTINUATION OF USE, RENT CHARGES AND OPERATING METHODS. THE PROJECT ALSO IS SUBJECT TO AN 811 PROJECT RENTAL ASSISTANCE CONTRACT (PRAC) AGREEMENT WITH HUD, AND A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF THE PROJECT'S RENTAL INCOME IS RECEIVED UNDER THE 811 PRAC SUBSIDY PROGRAM.
