SPONSORSHIP OF OKTOBERFEST FESTIVAL MODELED AFTER THE TRADITIONAL ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST OF MUNICH, GERMANY. THIS EVENT ATTRACTS SEVERAL THOUSAND PARTICIPANTS EACH YEAR TO THE EXPERIENCE OF AN AUTHENTIC BAVARIAN TOWN.
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN PROJECKT BAYERN ASSOCIATION AND THE CITY OF LEAVENWORTH WAS MADE ON OCTOBER9, 2012 TO SECURE THE FRUIT WAREHOUSE AS A PERMANENT LOCATION FOR HOLDING THE ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION FOR $50,000. COINCIDING WITH ITS MISSION TO SUPPORT THE IMPROVEMENTS AND ENHANCEMENTS OF THE OLD WORLD BAVARIAN THEME, THE ASSOCIATION ALSO DONATED MONIES TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY.
SPONSORSHIP OF THE CHRISTKINDLMARKT FESTIVAL MODELED AFTER THE TRADITIONAL ANNUAL CHRISTKINDLMARKT OF NUREMBERG, GERMANY. THIS EVENT SEPARATELY ATTRACTS APPROXIMATELY 2,500 VISITORS TO A WINTERTIME BAVARIAN TOWN EXPERIENCE.
