PROTECT FARMLAND IN AND NEAR THURSTON COUNTY IN WASHINGTON STATE. ASSURE THAT FARMLAND REMAINS FARMED AND CONTINUES TO SUPPORT A VIABLE AGRICULTURAL ECONOMY THAT PROVIDES FOR LOCAL FOOD SECURITY AND HELP BUILD A COMMUNITY THAT APPRECIATES AND SUPPORTS LOCALLY PRODUCED, HEALTHY FOOD.

PROVIDE LEASE OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL FARMERS, WHO SELL A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF THEIR PRODUCTS LOCALLY, TO RENT AGRICULTURAL LAND AT AN AFFORDABLE RATE ON A LONG TERM BASIS.
PRODUCE AND WIDELY DISTRIBUTE, FREE OF CHARGE, AN ANNUAL "FARM GUIDE" OVER OUR FOUR CONTIGUOUS COUNTIES. THE INTENTION IS TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON THE IMPORTANCE OF LOCAL FOOD SECURITY AND TO ENCOURAGE THE PURCHASE OF LOCALLY GROWN FOOD DIRECTLY FROM FARMERS.
SECURE FARMLAND IN PERPETUITY IN GRAYS HARBOR, THURSTON, MASON, AND LEWIS COUNTIES BY THE REMOVAL OF DEVELOPMENT RIGHTS, PLACEMENT OF EASEMENTS, AND/OR ACQUISITION.
