SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AWARDS ARE MADE YEARLY TO HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION IN COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES OR POST-SECONDARY INSTITUTIONS. SIXTY-FOUR SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED IN 2023, SIXTEEN WERE RENEWALS FOR MULTI-YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS.
GRANTS MADE TO SCHOOLS IN THE NORTH THURSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO BE USED FOR NEEDY STUDENTS TO ASSIST IN MEETING SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS AND SOME PERSONAL NEEDS INCIDENTIAL TO THEIR OBTAINING AN EDUCATION. GRANTS CONTINUE TO INCLUDE RENT/UTILITIES, FOOD AND TOILETRY CLOSETS IN MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE FOODS AND OTHER ITEMS FOR HOMELESS STUDENTS AND OTHERS IN NEED.
