THE SCHOOL SOCIAL WORK ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA IS A PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION SERVING SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS. WE CONDUCT CONFERENCES AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT FOR OUR MEMBERS AND WE PARTICIPATE WITH GOVERNMENTAL AND PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT OUR MEMBERS.

SSWAA HAD A NATIONAL SCHOOL SOCIAL WORK CONFERENCE. SSWAA ALSO CONDUCTED MONTHLY WEBINARS FOR OUR MEMBERSHIP.
SSWAA SELLS BOOKS, DVD'S, PAMPHLETS, BROCHURES AND OTHER ITEMS THAT PUBLICIZE AND PROMOTE THE PROFESSION OF SCHOOL SOCIAL WORK.
SSWAA PROVIDES MEMBERSHIP SERVICES TO SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS AND IN TURN OUR MEMBERS RECEIVE CONFERENCE DISCOUNTS, DISCOUNTS ON BOOKS AND PUBLICATIONS, MALPRACTICE INSURANCE AND OTHER TANGIBLE AND INTANGIBLE MEMBERSHIP SERVICES. THE SERVICES INCLUDE REPRESENTATION IN NATIONAL COALITIONS, TASK FORCES, AND GOVERNMENTAL ACTIVITIES RELATED TO EDUCATION AND SCHOOL SOCIAL WORK.
