PROMOTION OF ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE, AND QUALITY HEALTH CARE FOR 106,645 NETWORK MEMBERS PRIMARILY PARTICIPATING IN MEDICAID. EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2021, THE COMPANY PROVIDES HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE TO ENROLLEES OF THE WASHINGTON STATE HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY'S (HCA) MANAGED CARE "PUBLIC OPTION" PROGRAM KNOWN AS CASCADE SELECT. CASCADE SELECT WAS DEVELOPED TO CREATE NEW AFFORDABLE HEALTH COVERAGE OPTIONS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE WASHINGTON HEALTHPLANFINDER. THE NETWORK HAS EXITED THE INDIVIDUAL MARKET EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2023, AND COMMUNITY HEALTH PLAN OF WASHINGTON (THE PLAN) WILL BEGIN OFFERING CASCADE SELECT PRODUCTS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2023. THE PLAN, A CONTROLLED AFFILIATE OF THE NETWORK (COLLECTIVELY, THE COMPANY), IS ALSO A HEALTH CARE SERVICE CONTRACTOR LICENSED (HCSC) BY THE STATE OF WASHINGTON OFFICE OF THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER (THE OIC).
