THE MISSION AT WORLD TRADE CENTER IS TO FOSTER BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BY ENHANCING WASHINGTON STATE'S CAPACITY FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE. TO THIS EFFECT, THE WTC TACOMA WILL DEDICATE ITS EFFORTS TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO COMPANIES INTERESTED OR INVOLVED IN GLOBAL TRADE.

THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND INVESTMENT PROGRAM BRINGS SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED ENTERPRISES (SME) FROM THE LOCAL AREA INTO INTERNATIONAL MARKETS AND INTERNATIONAL SME'S INTO THE US MARKET TO GROW BUSINESS, AND DEVELOP COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIPS.
TRADE AND INVESTMENT MISSIONS - TARGETED SOLUTIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL CLIENTS WHO NEED EXTRA ATTENTION AND ASSISTANCE FROM THE WTC TACOMA. THESE CAN AND DO TAKE A VARIETY OF FORMS FROM DIRECT MATCHMAKING TO EXECUTING PROJECTS FROM BEGINNING TO COMPLETION. A TRADE AND INVESTMENT MISSION WAS ORGANIZED IN DECEMBER 2018 TO FOUR CITIES IN INDIA, WHERE MULTIPLE MEETINGS IN EACH CITY WERE ARRANGED FOR MATCHMAKING FOR WTC CLIENTS.
TRAINING/EDUCATION/NETWORKING/PROMOTION - PROVIDING TOOLS AND RESOURCES FOR OUR MEMBERSHIP TO HELP THEM DEVELOP AND EXPAND THEIR IMPORT AND EXPORT ACTIVITY AS WELL AS PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR NETWORKING AND PROMOTION. ELEVEN EVENTS WERE ORGANIZED FOR MEMBER EDUCATION, NETWORKING, MATCHMAKING,MEMBER RECRUITMENT AND WTC TACOMA SERVICES PROMOTION.
