TO LEAD, REPRESENT AND PROTECT THE INTEREST OF ITS AGRICULTURAL EMPLOYER MEMBERS ON LABOR ISSUES. THIS IS DONE BY EDUCATING, INFLUENCING AND INFORMING MEMBERS, THE MEDIA, THE PUBLIC, REGULATORS, LEGISLATORS, AND MEMBER EMPLOYEES.

OPERATION OF SEASONAL HOUSING THAT ENABLES GROWERS TO OFFER SAFE HOUSING TO THEIR SEASONAL AND MIGRANT FARMWORKERS IN MALAGA, CASHMERE AND MATTAWA. SAGE BLUFF IN MALAGA, WA HAS 41 HOUSING UNITS AVAILABLE AND ACCOMODATED APPROXIMATELY XX TENANTS. BRENDER CREEK IN CASHMERE, WA HAS SEVEN APARTMENT BUILDINGS AND ACCOMODATED APPROXIMATELY XX TENANTS. MATTAWA SLOPE IN MATTAWA, WA HAS SEVEN APARTMENT BUILDINGS AND ACCOMODATED APPROXIMATELY XX TENANTS.


MEMBERS OF THE WASHINGTON GROWERS LEAGUE ARE REPRESENTED ON CRITICAL AGRICULTURAL LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT ISSUES THROUGH STRATEGIC GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS AND INDUSTRY MOBILIZATION. MEMBERS RECEIVE ADVOCACY-RELATED BENEFITS RELATEDTO HEALTH AND SAFETY, IMMIGRATION AND H-2A UPDATES AND EDUCATION AS WELL AS A NEWSLETTER CONSISTING OF COMPREHENSIVE UPDATES AND RESOURCES ON CRITICAL ISSUES AND POLICY CHANGES. MEMBERS ALSO HAVE ACCESS TO RESOURCES, UPDATES, TRAINING, CONFERENCES, AND EXPERT ASSISTANCE IN NAVIGATING COMPLIANCE AND MANAGING THE COMPLICATED LABOR AND UNEMPLOYMENT ISSUES FACING ALL AGRICULTURAL EMPLOYERS TODAY. APPROXIMATELY 300 EMPLOYERS PARTICIPATED AS MEMBERS.
