PNACAC IS A REGIONAL AFFILIATE OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR COLLEGE ADMISSION COUNSELING, AN EDUCATION ASSOCIATION OF SECONDARY SCHOOL COUNSELORS, COLLEGE, AND UNIVERSITY ADMISSION OFFICERS AND COUNSELORS AND RELATED INDIVIDUALS WHO WORK WITH STUDENTS AS THEY MAKE THE TRANSITION FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION. PNACAC SERVES THE STATES OF ALASKA, IDAHO, MONTANA, OREGON, AND WASHINGTON. THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THIS CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED IS EXCLUSIVELY EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE AND NO OTHER.

THE PROMOTION OF NACAC'S STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES OF GOOD PRACTICE IN ADDITION TO MONITORING OUR MEMBER'S ADHERENCE THERETO. THE PROMOTION AND PROTECTION OF THE INTEREST OF STUDENTS INVOLVED IN THE POST SECONDARY EDUCATION PLANNING PROCESS. THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS. MET THE PROFESSIONAL NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN THE ADMISSION PROCESS. FUTHERED THE EDUCATION OF THOSE INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS OF PLANNING FOR POST SECONDARY EDUCATION. DEVELOPED AND ENGAGED IN SERVICES RELATED TO THE PROCESS OF PLANNING FOR POST SECONDARY EDUCATION AND ADMISSION. COMMUNICATED INFORMATION TO MEMBERS AND OTHER APPROPRIATE PARTIES THROUGH CONFERENCES, MEETINGS, FAIRS, TOURS, PUBLICATIONS, AND OUR WEBSITE. PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERACTION BETWEEN AND AMONG OUR MEMBERSHIP, VARIOUS SEGMENTS OF OUR CORPORATION, OTHER PARTS OF THE EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY, AND APPROPRIATE ORGANIZATIONS AND AGENCIES.
