INSTRUCTION AND SUPPORT SERVICES: PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR SELF-DETERMINATION AND POSITIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCES THROUGH NORMATIVE MEANS. PROVIDED THE MEANS TO DIRECT AND PARTICIPATE IN PROGRAMS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE PERSON'S ABILITIES WITH INTELLECTUAL CHALLENGES. SERVICES INCLUDED OPTIMIZING PERSONAL GROWTH AND THE ACQUISITION OF THOSE LIFE SKILLS THAT WILL ENABLE PERSONS TO COPE MORE EFFECTIVELY WITH THEIR PERSONAL NEEDS AND THE DEMANDS OF THEIR SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT. PROVIDED A HOME-LIKE SETTING WHERE THE BEST EFFORT OF STAFF, THE PROGRAM STRUCTURE, AND SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE NURTURE A FEELING OF WORTH AND SELF-ACCEPTANCE. A WRITTEN LONG-RANGE GOALS AND INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION AND SUPPORT PLAN WERE CREATED FOR EACH PERSON. THE PROGRAM WILL BE REASSESSED TO REFLECT THE PROGRESS OF THE PERSON IN ATTAINING EACH OBJECTIVE AND HOW THE GOALS WAS ATTAINED. COMMUNITY RESOURCES WILL BE UTILIZED FOR THEIR MEDICAL NEEDS. STAFF WILL FACILITATES SOCIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE NON-INTELLECTUALLY CHALLENGED MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY BETWEEN PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES.
