AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT SERVICES - COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR THE CREATION AND/OR REHABILITATION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING SERVING LOW-INCOME RURAL AND/OR FARMWORKER HOUSEHOLDS. SERVICES PROVIDED IN THE FOLLOWING COMMUNITIES: ABERDEEN, BREWSTER, CHELAN, ENTIAT, FRIDAY HARBOR, HOQUIM, LEAVENWORTH, MABTON, MANSON, MATTAWA, OMAK, OKANOGAN, OROVILLE, OTHELLO, PATEROS, PORT TOWNSEND, SKAGIT COUNTY, SUNNYSIDE, TIETON, WENATCHEE, WINTHROP, YAKIMA, AND YAKIMA COUNTY, TOTALING 1,358 UNITS, AND 132 BEDS IN DEVELOPMENT.


PART III 4(D) FINANCING FOR HOUSING THE ORGANIZATION PERIODICALLY PROVIDES FINANCING TO THEIR HOUSING SPONSORS. DURING 2022, THE ORGANIZATION MET ADMINISTRATIVE AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS OF USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND THE CDFI FUND ASSOCIATED WITH A PORTION OF THESE LENDING ACTIVITIES. SAID REQUIREMENTS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH PREVIOUS AWARDS OF CAPITAL FROM THESE AGENCIES.


NETWORKING/POLICY/INFORMATION ASSISTANCE - RESEARCH AND PROVIDE INFORMATION TO INTERESTED PARTIES ON RURAL/FARMWORKER HOUSING NEEDS AND PROGRAMS/RESOURCES AVAILABLE AT THE LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL LEVELS. SUPPORT POLICY EFFORTS TO IMPROVE DELIVERY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROGRAMS.


TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE (TA) - PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO ORGANIZATIONS CONSIDERING DEVELOPING AFFORDABLE HOUSING SERVING LOW-INCOME RURAL AND/OR FARMWORKER HOUSEHOLDS. EXPENSES FOR THESE SERVICES CAN BE COVERED BY GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. SERVICE PROVIDED IN ABERDEEN, CASCADE LOCKS, COULEE CITY, ELLENSBURG, FORKS, OKANOGAN, OMAK, OTHELLO, SHELTON, SOAP LAKE, TWISP AND WAPATO TOTALING 132 UNITS.
