THE MISSION OF THE KINESIOLOGY MAJORS DEVELOPMENT FUND IS TO DEVELOP ACTIVE MEMBERS OF THE UL KINESIOLOGY PROFESSIONALS ASSOCATION AS WELL AS PROMOTE KINESIOLOGY AWARENESS THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY. AREAS OF FUNDING FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INCLUDE TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR CONFERENCES (STUDENTS AND FACULTY MENTORS), CONVENTIONS, GRADUATE SCHOOL VISITS, CERTIFICATIONS AND PREP COURSES FOR CERTIFICATIONS, RESEARCH EQUIPMENT FOR STUDENT PROJECTS, AND ANY OTHER AREAS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FEELS WILL ENHANCE STUDENT DEVELOPMENT. THE KINESIOLOGY MAJORS DEVELOPMENT FUND PROMOTES THE STUDY OF KINESIOLOGY THROUGH THE COMMUNITY BY NON-PROFIT AND COMMUNITY SPONSORSHIPS, FUNDRAISING COLLABORATIONS AND AUCTION DONATIONS.

THIS IS DONE THRU NATIONAL CONFERENCE ATTENDENCES, NETWORKING WITH PROFESSIONALS, TOURING POTENTIAL PROFESSIONAL SCHOOLS (PHYSICAL THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, ETC.).
